Grounds

The cottages stand on over two acres of land containing 220 olive trees and various other trees including pomegranate, orange, lemon, fig, cork oak and chestnut. The São Mamede Natural Park surrounds the land with granite outcrops, eucalyptus and pine tree forested hills and strict building and ecological regulations.

Often the only sounds are the distant bells of goat and sheep and birdsong, the cottages are very private and perfect for relaxation. Or take inspiration from the surroundings and take an individual or group art lesson in the garden.

Mountain bikes are available to explore the surrounding forest along forest tracks and way marked routes though the surrounding villages and hamlets.

The cottages share a welcoming graduated depth plunge pool, with an outdoor shower and footbath with many places for relaxation in the sunshine and shade.
